The BCHTC has compiled a complete list of resources to assist our community to better access resources for victims/survivors of human trafficking. This compilation is regularly updated. Additionally, as new resources are discovered/become available, they are added to the full resource spreadsheet.
The guide is sorted by the following categories:
Direct Emergency Services- operates 24/7, provides direct emergency services to victims such as housing, crisis intervention, etc.
State/Local Government Agency
Law Enforcement/Fire/EMS
Primary Behavioral/Mental Health Services- organization's primary service is behavioral/mental health services.
Primary Medical Services- Hospitals, Medical Clinics, etc.
Secondary Victim Services- provides vital direct primarily victims services, however are not defined as emergency services; does not operate 24/7 but is typically M-F, 9-5 or is appointment only; provides services such as counseling/case management or makes referrals to partner organizations for services
Prevention/Additional Support Services- provides preventative services to combat victimization and/or provides support services to victims however the main focus of the organization is not necessarily on serving victims of crime
